01 · The need

You want to grow.
You will not grow
away from your deen.

Much of what is offered to you borrows its foundations from elsewhere, then borrows an Islamic vocabulary. You feel the inconsistency before you can name it.

Baseerah is for the sister who wants a sincere path to clarity, guided by Qur'aan and Sunnah, and held within scholarship. Not another formula to perform.

Not a borrowed framework.
Not growth at any cost.
A sound foundation.

أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

Translation of the meaning

Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves), All-Aware (of everything).

02 · The foundation

A clear path begins
with what has already
been made clear.

Baseerah does not begin with a new framework. It begins with what has been clarified by revelation, understood through qualified scholarship, and carried within the limits of aqeedah and manhaj.

قُلْ هَٰذِهِ سَبِيلِي أَدْعُو إِلَى اللَّهِ ۖ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَنِي

"Say: this is my path. I call to Allaah upon clear insight, I and whoever follows me."

Qur'aan, Soorat Yoosuf 12:108 · meaning paraphrased

Application. Clarity is not a passing conviction. It is knowledge of the path, and the responsibility to remain upon it. Every framework at Baseerah is measured against that standard, not against what is current.

03 · The Baseerah Method

Seven characteristics.
One manner of care.

The Method rests on seven prophetic characteristics drawn from scholarly works on the character of the Prophet ﷺ, peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him. They shape how a sister is heard, guided and accompanied.

Characteristic 01 of 07
الصِّدْق
sidq · truthfulness

Truthfulness

Honesty before progress. We do not persuade a sister toward a version of herself that is not true, nor promise what we cannot give.

In practice

Clear teaching, honest limits, and no borrowed certainty where knowledge has not been given.

No characteristic is used as a technique. Each is a responsibility of the one who accompanies.

Our hope for every sister

Clarity. Barakah.
Alignment. Trust.

We ask Allaah for these, and we do not claim to measure them. The outcome belongs to Him.

06 · Scholarly basis

Built upon scholarship,
not preference.

The academy's founding document is a fatwa from Shaykh Abdussalaam Suhaymee, dated December 2023, supporting the work. It is conditioned on grounding in aqeedah and manhaj, and on involving aqeedah specialists. We hold to that condition.

Founding review

December 2023

Shaykh Abdussalaam Suhaymee
01

Derived, not improvised. Every framework is drawn from the works of qualified scholars, never from independent interpretation of primary texts.

02

Reviewed before taught. The curriculum passes through a Scholarly Review Agreement, with aqeedah specialists involved.

03

Limits made clear. The academy is not a source of religious verdicts. Matters beyond its scope are referred to qualified scholars.

Support is a responsibility,
not a slogan.
07 · Before you ask

Questions,
answered plainly.

If what you need is not here, write to us directly. A question is a good beginning.

Ask us
01Is the free framework a limited trial?

No. The Baseerah Framework is free permanently inside the community. It is the same foundation, not a reduced introduction held back behind a fee.

02Who is the live certification for?

For the Muslim woman who wants to study the Method under live teaching, with accountability and review. The first level is a grounding in aqeedah and manhaj; later levels carry the responsibility of practice.

03What does the Scholarly Review Agreement mean?

It is the academy's commitment that every framework is derived from the works of qualified scholars and reviewed before it is taught. Aqeedah specialists are involved, and the curriculum is not an independent reading of primary texts.

04How are the funded places decided?

Two fully funded and two half funded places are offered each intake. It is trust based: no financial documentation is requested, and receiving a place is not a judgment of need. Ask about it in your enquiry.

05How do the payment arrangements work?

Live certification is £1,500 per level, paid monthly within that level. Self study is £400 per year or £35 per month. One to one study is £800, or £750 paid in full. The full enrolment agreement is shared before any payment is made.

06Are the dates Hijri or Gregorian?

Both are given together. Cohorts begin on the 15th of a Hijri month, twice yearly. Cohort One begins 15 Rajab 1448, 24 December 2026. Enrolment closes 1 Rajab 1448, 10 December 2026.

07Is this a replacement for a scholar or a medical professional?

No. Baseerah teaches within its range and refers matters beyond it to qualified scholars. It is also not a substitute for medical care where medical care is needed.

Translation of the meaning

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم): "This is my way; I invite unto Allaah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allaah, Islaamic Monotheism) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allaah i.e. to the Oneness of Allaah, Islaamic Monotheism with sure knowledge). And Glorified and Exalted be Allaah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah; those who worship others along with Allaah or set up rivals or partners to Allaah)."
