Live certification · Level One · Months 1 to 4

Rectifying
the hearts.

Before the methodology is touched, the heart is addressed. Level One is four months of tazkiyyah al-Nafs and foundational aqeedah: the internal work the whole certification rests on, begun under supervision and grounded in the works of the scholars.

أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Translation of the meaning

Verily, in the remembrance of Allaah do hearts find rest.

The purpose of Level One

Her own heart is addressed before she assists
with the hearts of others.

Much of the coaching industry assumes a person can guide others before she has examined herself. Baseerah assumes the opposite. In Level One the student enters serious work on her own heart first: sincerity is examined, the diseases of the heart are identified and named, and tawheed is established as the lens for everything that follows.

Three parallel pathways run through every month. The tarbiyyah pathway leads: rectifying the heart through the Qur'aan, the Sunnah, and the works of the scholars. Alongside it, the coaching practice pathway and the business building pathway move at a deliberately slower pace, because a foundation cannot be rushed.

Month by month

Four months of internal work,
held to a high standard.

Each month carries all three pathways. Nothing in the coaching or business pathways outruns the tarbiyyah pathway in any month. Alongside them, every month includes the Monthly Supervision and Shura Circle: the circle's four part order, a standards check, an anonymized case study, mutual naseeha, and a record, taught from the first month in learning level form, so the practice of counsel is formed before the practice exists.

Month 1

The Self Before the Service

Tarbiyyah

The diseases of the heart are studied in depth: riya' (showing off), ujb (self admiration), hasad (envy), and kibr (arrogance), each from the works of the scholars. Muhasabah, self accounting, is introduced as a daily practice, and the morning and evening adhkar become part of the student's routine.

Coaching practice

This month is self study through muhasabah only. No client work. The student learns to examine herself before she is permitted to examine anything with anyone else.

Business building

Before any plan or offer, the student writes her niyyah: the intention of the service she intends to offer, stated for Allaah alone. The document is written in Month 1 and returned to in Month 12 for renewal.

Month 2

Aqeedah Foundations and Tawakkul

Tarbiyyah

The three categories of tawheed are studied with their proofs, along with the conditions of the shahaadah. The tawakkul framework is established for the whole certification: the asbab, the means a person takes, are distinguished from al-Musabbib, Allaah alone, the One who causes every effect.

Coaching practice

The student examines three mainstream coaching or personal development frameworks and identifies specifically where each one violates tawheed. This is doctrinal formation, not an academic exercise: it begins the capacity for the refutation work of Level Two.

Business building

Business ethics are studied before any marketing: gharar, uncertainty in transactions, is identified, and the student commits to honesty without income promises or outcome guarantees.

Month 3

Sincerity, the Nafs,
and the Coaching Relationship

Tarbiyyah

The akhlaaq of the Prophet ﷺ are studied from Upright Moral Character by Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله and the works of Shaykh 'Abd al-Razzaaq al-Badr حفظه الله, and the seven prophetic characteristics are taught with their evidence from the Sunnah. Ikhlas, sincerity, and the levels of the nafs remain paired with this study: the characteristics are the form, and ikhlas is its soul.

Coaching practice

Observation practice begins: the student watches the facilitator model a session and writes what she observed, and the Naseeha stage of the Baseerah Method begins in practice. The full method follows in Month 4.

Business building

The student drafts her vision of the practice she intends to offer: whom it serves, and how every aspect of it honours the niyyah established in Month 1. Not a business plan. A description of a service measured against sincerity.

Month 4

The Baseerah Method
and First Peer Coaching

Tarbiyyah

The akhlaaq of the Prophet ﷺ are studied as they manifest in relationships of guidance and counsel: hikmah, rahmah, sidq (truthfulness), and hilm (forbearance), from Upright Moral Character by Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله and other works. Sabr and shukr are studied in the coaching context: patience with the client whose progress is slow, and gratitude for the amanah of serving another Muslim woman.

Coaching practice

The student enters her first supervised peer coaching sessions, working in pairs. Every session is opened with Niyyah and Tasleem, observed by the facilitator, and debriefed using the seven prophetic characteristics as the only evaluative framework.

Business building

The student drafts her first client journey: from first contact through to muraqabah and mutaaba'ah, so that the structure of her service exists before her first real client arrives in the levels that follow.

The outcome, in shaa Allaah

By the end of Month 4.

01

Serious, structured internal work has been completed before the methodology is touched.

02

She has a working knowledge of tawheed, tawakkul, and the diseases of the heart, and muhasabah has become a real practice rather than a concept.

03

She has completed her first supervised peer coaching sessions using the Baseerah Method, debriefed under the seven prophetic characteristics.

04

Her ethical boundary document is written: what she will and will not offer, and why, committed before Allaah.

She does not yet serve clients. She has begun the work on herself that this service requires, and that work does not end: it is renewed at every level that follows.

The assessment

The Level One
graduation assessment.

01

A written muhasabah of the four months: what changed internally, which diseases were identified and worked on, and where genuine growth is observed and where the work continues.

02

A written articulation of the tawakkul framework in her own words, demonstrating that she can explain the distinction between the asbab and al-Musabbib and its implications for the coaching relationship.

03

A peer coaching session observed and assessed by the facilitator, using the seven prophetic characteristics as the evaluative standard.

The student does not progress to Level Two until all three are complete and the facilitator is satisfied that the formation is genuine.

Level Two · Months 5 to 8

Next: refutation
and method.

Level Two takes the foundation of Level One into the doctrinal work that defines Baseerah: aqeedah in depth, systematic refutation, and the development of the Baseerah Method to confident, independent practice.

Live certification is £1,500 per level, paid monthly within that level. The First Halaqa begins 15 Rajab 1448 (24 December 2026), and enrolment closes 1 Rajab (10 December 2026).
